IBPS RRB 2023: Check Notification, Eligibility, Exam Date, Application Form, Syllabus & Vacancies, etc.

IBPS has released a calendar with the exam dates for the IBPS RRB 2023 (CRP RRBs XII) exams for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B” Office Assistant (Multipurpose). As per the calendar, Prelims exam of clerk and officer scale-I going to held in August and September 2023, while the mains exam is scheduled for October (tentatively) respectively. In case of officer scaleI, II & III, the single exam is going to take place in August and September. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection or IBPS conducts the recruitment in Regional Rural Banks (RRB’s) through a national level exam annually. The IBPS conducts the recruitment for the following Group A and B posts:
1. IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
2. IBPS RRB Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager)
3. IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II (Generalist & Specialist)
4. IBPS RRB Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)
5. Agriculture Officer (Grade II)
6. IT Officer (Grade II)
7. Chartered Accountant (Grade II)

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of Office Assistant and Officer Grade for IBPS RRB Exam 2023 is different. From 2023 the candidates can opt for the language as per the list given in the notification

IBPS RRB Assistant Exam comprises of two phases namely,
  1. Preliminary Exam
  2. Mains Exam
There will be no interview for the post of Office Assistant post after the Mains exam in case he or she qualifies both phases.

IBPS RRB Pre Exam Training (PET)

Pre-Examination Training may be arranged by the Regional Rural Banks to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons With Benchmark Disabilities for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities for the Post of Officer Scale-I at some centers viz. Warangal, Anantapur, Naharlagun (Papumpare), Guwahati, Ajmer, Raibareilly, Guntur, Raipur, Gandhinagar, Srinagar, Lucknow, Mandi, Jammu, Ranchi, Varanasi, Patna, Imphal, Jodhpur, Shillong, Aizawl, Kohima, Indore, Bhubaneshwar, Salem, Howrah, Moradabad, Puducherry, Ludhiana, Gorakhpur, Rohtak, Rajkot, Hyderabad, Agartala, Muzaffarpur, Dehradun, and Nagpur.

All eligible candidates who wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the relevant column in the ON-LINE APPLICATION. All expenses regarding traveling, boarding, lodging etc. will have to be borne by the Candidate for attending the Pre-Examination Training programme at the designated Centers. IBPS, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centers and/ or add some other Centers and/ or make alternate arrangements, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.

By merely attending the Pre-Examination Training no candidate acquires any right to be selected in any of the Regional Rural Banks mentioned.

Pre-Requisites for Applying Online

Before applying online, candidates should—

  • scan their :
    • photograph (4.5cm × 5cm)
    • signature
    • left thumb impression (If a candidate is not having left thumb, he/she may use his/ her right thumb. If both thumbs are missing, the impression of one of the fingers of the left hand starting from the forefinger should be taken. If there are no fingers on the left hand, the impression of one of the fingers of the right hand starting from the forefinger should be taken. If no fingers are available, the impression of left toe may be In all such cases where left thumb impression is not uploaded, the candidate should specify in the uploaded document the name of finger and the specification of left/right hand or toe).
    • a hand written declaration (text given below). The hand written declaration has to be in the candidate’s hand writing and in English If it is written by anybody else and uploaded or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid. (In the case of candidates who cannot write, may get the text of declaration typed and put their left hand thumb impression (if not able to sign also) below the typed declaration and upload the document as per specifications.)
    • ensuring that the all these scanned documents adhere to the required specifications as given in Annexure III to this Advertisement.
  • Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be
  • The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged
  • The text for the hand written declaration is as follows –

  • Keep the necessary details/documents ready to make Online Payment of the requisite application fee/ intimation charges
  • have a valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the declaration of results of this round of CRP. IBPS may send intimation to download call letters for the Examination through the registered e-mail ID. Under no circumstances, a candidate should share with/mention e-mail ID to / of any other person. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying on-line and must maintain that email account.
