TSPSC Exam pattern and Syllabus 2023
Group IV exams are conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) which is an organization under the Telangana government to recruit various posts in Telangana for Group 4. TSPSC Group 4 Exam Pattern
Unlike Group 3 and group 2 exams, this group 4 exam is conducted in two papers having 150 questions that are held for 150 marks and conducted for 150 minutes. The exam syllabus papers are given below:

So, from the above exam pattern, we can see that the exam pattern for group 4 is different from the exam pattern of group 3. TSPSC Group 4 Syllabus

- Environmental Issues and Disaster Management.
- Geography and Economy of India and Telangana.
- Indian Constitution : Salient Features.
- Indian Political System and Government.
- Modern Indian History with a focus on Indian National Movement.
- History of Telangana and Telangana Movement.
- Society, Culture, Heritage, Arts and Literature of Telangana.
- Policies of Telangana State.
PAPER-II: SECRETARIAL ABILITIES
- Mental Ability. (Verbal and non-verbal)
- Logical Reasoning.
- Comprehension.
- Re-arrangement of sentences with a view to improving the analysis of a passage.
- Numerical and Arithmetical abilities.
This syllabus is the general overview of the questions that will be asked in the exam. Although it looks very small as compared to Group 3 exam if we carefully observe the syllabus for group 4 almost covers the same syllabus of group 3. The only difference is the slight depth in the syllabus, whereas the topics that have to be covered remain the same. In the group 3 notification, the syllabus is given in a detailed manner while in the official notification of group 4 the synopsis overview of the syllabus is given. The number of papers and questions asked in group 3 is more while the number of questions asked in group 4 exams is less, thereby making the syllabus confined to limited areas.
